2-22-2013 Lorrie would have been 91 years old today, but her memory lives on.
Lorrie Shadbolt Tussman was born in San Diego, California, on February 22, 1922. She attended the University of California at Berkeley, eventually obtaining a Masters in Political Science. She was married to UC Berkeley professor of philosophy Joseph Tussman, and had one son, David. She died on July 11, 1984, in Athens, Greece. This site memorializes her life through a collection of her writings which will be posted from time to time, beginning with The Broken Arch, her unpublished work exploring the ideas of Henry Adams.
